Abstract

Schubert Calculus on a Grassmann Algebra is in contrast with Schubert Calculus on a Grassmann variety. To perform Schubert calculus on all Grassmannians G(k,n) at once, for all 1≤k≤n, it is sufficient to work with a Hasse-Schmidt derivation on the exterior algebra associated to the cohomology ring of G(1,n), the projective space!
