We celebrated Giorgio's birthday by bringing together mathematicians working in both pure and applied algebraic geometry for a week-long meeting in the mountains, featuring talks about the most recent progresses in these fields, and lots of time
to interact and discuss about mathematics.

The conference was a CIRM-FBK event. Due to the current pandemic situation in Italy,
it took place entirely online, streamed live on Zoom.
