This webpage serves to answer typical questions that I receive from students when they ask me a thesis project.

If you are interested in learning more about my research area, this website provides an overview of my current research and publications.  Additional information related to research topics can be found in the student web portal or you can ask an appointment to me directly by email (gianpaolo.cimellaro@polito.it). If you want to work with me you should contact me as soon as possible and in any case before the end of your exams.

If you are interested in internship opportunities, please contact directly the professor, because they might be available or can be arranged according to the proposed research topic.

My research is multidisciplinary so students from other courses and disciplines are more than welcome (e.g. computer science, economics, architecture, mechanical engineering, social science, etc.).

Many of my students work abroad during their thesis, however this option is only available after an evaluation period to test your research and language skills (English required). This evaluation period ranges from a minimum of 3 months to one semester, but it really depends on how much time you want to spend on your research.  

All students activities, thesis, documents, conference papers are in English regardless you are going to work abroad or in Italy.
