Fabrizio Lamberti received the MS and the PhD degrees in computer engineering from Polytechnic University of Turin, Italy, in 2000 and 2005, respectively. Since 2006, he has held an Assistant Professor position at the Department of Control and Computer Engineering at Polytechnic University of Turin.
He has authored and co-authored a number of technical papers in international books, journals and conferences in the areas of computer graphics, human-machine interaction and intelligent computing.
He has served as a reviewer and committee member for national and international conferences. He is a member of the Editorial Advisory Board of several international journals and of the "Encyclopedia of Computer Science and Technology" (Taylor & Francis). He has been the Co-Guest Editor of the Special Issue on "Remote Visualization" published in Computing and Visualization in Science. He is the Co-Guest Editor of the Special issue on "Virtual Puppetry: New Frontiers of Digital Character Animation" (Entertainment Computing) and on "Detection and Tracking of Targets in Forward-Looking InfraRed Imagery" (Sensors).
He is a senior member of the IEEE and the IEEE Computer Society.
