Alessandro Mantelero is Full-Tenured Aggregate Professor of Private Law at the Politecnico di Torino, member of the Department of Management and Production Engineering and Faculty Fellow at the Nexa Center for Internet and Society .

He is author of numerous publications and is currently focusing his studies on data protection, on-line reputation, ISP liability and legal implications of cloud computing and Big Data. He is involved in different national and international research programs; in 2001, was admitted to the Italian bar.

Research interests

Data protection, privacy, on-line reputation, ISP liability, legal implications of cloud computing and Big Data, social networks, e-government, e-democracy.
